A new Mat the Math Mouse math story is on its way.

In Mat and the World Around, Mat the Math Mouse follows a beautiful butterfly into the forest and discovers how easily one can become lost when one does not take notice of the world around oneself.

Guided by the wise Tree Father, Mat begins to awaken to direction, position, distance and place. Through story, movement, language and imagination, children are gently led into the spatial awareness that forms an essential foundation for mathematical thinking.

A delightful 12-chapter story for parents, teachers and homeschooling families who want mathematics to begin with wonder.
